USS Constitution Model Shipwright Guild Model Show

January 31 through March 21, 2015

The Guild’s 36th Annual model show will be held at the USS Constitution Museum in the Charlestown Navy Yard.  The theme of this year’s show is whaling in honor of the 38th voyage of the Charles W. Morgan and it’s historic visit to the Navy Yard this past summer.  There will be many fine examples of whaling ships and whaleboats, as well as a host of other subjects from all periods.

Many of the model builders will be on hand to meet visitors and talk about their craft.  Some of the Guild members will be demonstrating model building techniques and there is a nautical scavenger hunt that’s always a big hit.

The Museum is open 7 day a week, 10 AM-5 PM.  Admission is free.
